Carom seeds also known as ajwain in Hindi are commonly found in Indian kitchens. It is warm in nature and has a bitter, sharp & pungent taste. It smells similar to thyme. As per Ayurveda ajwain is used to pacify vata & kapha dosha. Carom essential oil is steam distilled from Carom seeds. It can be used internally, topically, and aromatically for multiple purposes.
